The Easy Masks team combines over 100 years of manufacturing experience at Harriss & Covington with health and wellness professionals dedicated to your satisfaction.
Meet the Team
Baker Freiberg
Baker prefers the Lightning Bug Designer Edition as his mask of choice. In addition to managing the large retail and wholesale channels for Easy Masks, he serves as the VP of Sales for EHOP Health where he enjoys helping employers improve the health and wellbeing of their employees.
Baker has both a BA and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill, and he lives in Raleigh with his wife and 1 year old son.
Braden Covington
Braden is Co-President of Harriss & Covington Hosiery Mills, with a focus on operations. His refined and classic style is reflected in his favorite mask, the Midnight Black Eden.
Braden has a lifetime of experience in mill operations and management, and received his MBA from Wake Forest University. His undergraduate degree is from UNC Chapel Hill along with pretty much everyone else on this page.
Chris Covington
Chris, pictured here in the Classic Blue Eden, is Executive Vice President of Harriss & Covington Hosiery Mills. He focuses on materials and supply chain management. The cones of yarn in his office reflect his great eye for color, but as a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill he's also partial to light blue.
JoLynn Lawson
Seen here sporting the popular Candy Paisley High Point Designer Edition, JoLynn Lawson is Director of Customer Support for Easy Masks. She enjoys helping people discover the many benefits of comfortable, washable face masks and ensures that any mistakes we make along the way are just an opportunity to delight our clients.
JoLynn has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Furman University, and put her degree to good use teaching in Durham, NC as well as eventually homeschooling her three children.
Joe Jenkins, MD JD
Whether as a practicing doctor or an entrepreneurial healthcare CEO, Dr. Jenkins has always thought outside the box. He co-founded EHOP Health to change stale, outdated processes and help employees achieve more successful health outcomes. Most importantly he seems to know everyone and thus has the nickname of “Bacon” in honor of 6-Degrees of Kevin Bacon.
He has medical and law degrees from UNC Chapel Hill, and in addition to his work managing EHOP Health and Easy Masks' contracting and corporate partnerships, he ensured that his alma mater is well taken care of with masks for student and faculty heading into the fall semester.
Justin Thomas
Justin Thomas enjoys wearing the limited edition release of the USA themed High Point Designer Easy Masks. He is a national board certified health coach with a background in business management. In addition to his work as COO at EHOP Health, he helps oversee marketing and public relations at Easy Masks.
Justin also completed his MBA at the University College Dublin (Ireland) and currently lives in Hillsborough, NC with his wife and two daughters. Fun fact is that his wife is one of the Easy Masks models on the website and product inserts. It's a family business after all!
Ned Covington
Ned is Board Chairman of Harriss & Covington Hosiery Mills, a 100 year, 5th generation manufacturer of socks, and father to Tyler, Braden, and Chris. He enjoys wearing his early pre-Eden prototype mask; perhaps we'll convince him to upgrade one day.
Since graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, he has been in textiles in New York and High Point all his life. He says it is so gratifying to be a part of the fine and capable Easy Masks team, and so rewarding to be helping people stay safe during these times. We are all totally committed to that objective.
Tyler Covington
Tyler is Co-President of Harriss & Covington Hosiery Mills, with a focus on product development and sales. His creativity and a lifetime of experience in sock manufacturing were integral to launching Easy Masks over three weeks in March, 2020. Needless to say, innovations continue as Tyler continues to push our designs forward in pursuit of improved comfort and function.
Tyler continues to stack the deck in favor of the Tar Heels as he also graduated from UNC Chapel Hill. As the consummate product guy, he's wearing a next-gen Eden prototype reflecting a constant focus on what's next.
William (B.J.) Lawson, MD
Pictured here in the Biscay Green Eden, B.J. studied biomedical and electrical engineering before receiving his medical degree at Duke University. His passion is helping employees reverse chronic disease through health coaching and healthy lifestyle changes, and co-founded EHOP Health to reform health care by aligning the interests of employers and employees in that pursuit.
B.J.'s email exchange with Tyler Covington on March 21, 2020 kicked off the collaboration between Harriss & Covington and EHOP Health that became Easy Masks. In addition to his work supporting the technology and coaches at EHOP Health, he enjoys working with the great team at Easy Masks to bring a much needed, comfortable, and effective product to market.
